Da oggi, si apre la call della quarta edizione del REFF: sarà possibile iscrivere i propri film, solo, su FilmFreeway.
Ed è già tempo di annunciare una novità : la nuova veste di RIBALTA ANIMATA che per la quarta edizione diventa sezione competitiva, cambia nome e diventa RIBALTA ANIMATA - Sound by Frame. «Una sezione di concorso dedicata ai cortometraggi in tecniche di cinema di animazione con una particolare attenzione al rapporto creativo tra immagine animata e colonna sonora» spiega il curatore Roberto Paganelli (Associazione OTTOmani). «Verranno accettati in selezione i film con una particolare attenzione al gioco creativo tra suono e immagine animata includendo sì il formato "videoclip" ma anche le più diverse forme sperimentali, più astratte o figurative che siano, che propongano un utilizzo originale e generativo del suono in combinazione con l'immagine» prosegue Paganelli.

Earlybird Deadline: € 5,00/€ 2,00 per studenti (dal 1/07/2023 al 1/08/2023)
Regular Deadline: € 7,00/€ 5,00 per studenti (dal 2/08/2023 al 10/11/2023)
Late Deadline: € 10,00/€ 7,00 per studenti (dal 11/11/2023 al 1/12/2023)

And it’s already time to announce something new: the new look of RIBALTA ANIMATA, which for the fourth edition becomes a competitive section, changes its name and becomes RIBALTA ANIMATA - Sound by Frame. «A competitive section of the Festival dedicated to animated short films characterized by a creative relationship between animated image and soundtrack. Films with particular attention to the creative interaction between sound and animated image will be admitted to the selection, including both video clips as well as the most diverse experimental forms, more abstract or figurative, which propose an original and generative use of sound in combination with the image» explains the curator Roberto Paganelli (OTTOmani Association)

Regular Deadline: € 7,00/€ 5,00 for student project (september 2nd to november 10th)
